How to make it look like it's the night

How would I make my scenes and battleback look like it's night?
Like in the first scene there fighting on rooftops during the night so how would I get it to look darker on my battleback and maps

Or you can do it the long way and just add shadow to everything on the screen.  Whichever way you prefer doing it.
