How to make my Actors snap... during battle!

Hi Everyone!

I want a certain character in my game to gain the state “snapped” once one ally only has 5% HP left.

The problem is that that works only once per battle, but I want it to work all the time!

Example:

  1. A gets hit and only has 5% HP left.
  2. B get the state “snapped”
  3. C heals A and B uses an item to calm down ( removes the state)
  4. A gets hit AGAIN and has only 5% HP left, C doesn’t care
  5. C gets hit , only 5% HP bla bla
  6. B gets the state “snapped”

The problem can be found in Part 4. B got the state once because of A, but not a second time like I wanted.

Same goes for all other actors.

Here is how I set it up:

With Yanflys Base troop event plugin installed, I made the first troop have this event:

·        3 pages ( one for every other actor besides B   )

·        Each one has the condition Actor HP (ID) less or equal 5%

·        Each ones range (? I am using the German version, don’t know what it is in English)  is “Battle”

·        Each one adds the state “snapped” to actor B

Does anyone know how to “repeat” this so that it works the whole battle and not only once?

Also, if you have an Idea on how to remove the state snapped from B once e.g. A gets healed and has  more then 5%HP left It’d be cool if you’d tell me ^^

(Through that one is just a bonus)

If the Span set to Battle then it'll only trigger once a battle.  Try setting it to Turn or Moment.  Turn would be safer since it'll only go off once a turn, where as Moment could cause the game to lock up since it's firing the event off repeatedly even if you have a state check in there, unless you got another event doing checks to flip a switch..

Set it to Turn and no problem at all :D

You would need a more complex condition, but can be done. Although with this the state would automatically ends if the allies are healed. For exactly what you want another script I had for VXa would be better.

That sound awesome, i will definitely use that awesome plugin!

But I am afraid that my ( non existing) coding knowledge is insufficient for my needs :/ 

Since it would need to set up like this right?

Make a passive state to apply once the hp is below 6% ( equal or below 5%). That is something i can do, no problem.

But then I'd need a state that checks if another actor has a certain state right? 

And that is something I cant do because of non existing coding knowledge :/ 

But still, an incredible plugin, it gives a lot more possibilities then the one of Yanfly^^

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
