How to make scripts run in battle?

So im making a boss fight. And theres a script that activates a mini game unbder the common events tab in troops that reads SceneManager.call(Scene_Invaders). But i want it to run only for a certain amount of time, Then go back to the battle? Is there anyone that can help? Thank you so much.

The battle is a scene in itself, which means you'll need a script to solve this problem.
