I bought RPG Maker 2000 because it was on sale for real cheap and I wanted to try RPG Maker anyway. I'm making a game and I want to make my own tilesets and character art, however, I'm not sure how to do this. Does anyone know how I would do this?

'RPG Creator is a different engine from the one you are using.

I am assuming that you are asking about the technical/formatting aspects of compiling and installing the assets, rather than a "how do I draw them?" question.

Yes. I'm actually an artist myself, not much experience when it comes to pixel art but I'm sure it can't be too different.

RPGM2000 doesnt provide much fleyibility nor complexity. I recommend following:
Open Resource Manager
Export any Tileset and save it into your game's directory
Open it with a Drawing App
Then you will see how the tiles work. I dont think that one needs a detailed explanation for the tiles as there are no possibilities to change the tileset's format.
If not done yet, you can then import your tileset via Resource Manager

Well, if anyone has a funny, simple, easy RM game they want me to playtest/review, I would love it.
Someone close to me straight up told me they didn't think my relationship with my girlfriend would last. No lead up, very bluntly. Like it's obvious or something. Trying not to let it get to my head, but it's hard.
The distraction would be a life saver.

My first foray into a plugin that I plan to release. Working on something for those who want to set up a Dragon Quest style battle HUD with minimal fuss. Includes the ability to round the battleback corners to fit your windowskin and, of course, front-view animations.

Do you ever wonder where the heck everyone is going at 9:00 at night? Like... guys, go home! Get some sleep! Me? Oh, I'm out to get pizza 'cause I decided supper time was 9:30 tonight.
Updated my map with new terrain, improved the water and added some fishes, also added a beautiful rainbow!
