How to make two events touching activate a switch?

Not the command, the WHOLE EVENT... I need to see when that command is run, so I need to see the whole event...


just do it (the variable set-up for all four variables) on the rock movement event, so that whenever you push the rock, the values will update

OMG OMG OMG, I FINALLY GOT IT!!!

Thank you sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much. It took a while but I finally got it aha.

I realized the reason it wasn't working was because I hadn't put the variables in an event I'd just set them and then deleted them from the event thinking they were still active in the game. Anyway, thank you.

This is a picture of the Ball Map X variable:

Is it missing something? Am I supposed to add numbers in?
It isn't missing something, but that sets only the value of the Ball's Map X in that second.

If you move the ball, then the ball's X will have changed, but the variable will still contain the value it had before you moved the ball.

To update the variable, you need to repeat your command after each move.

That's why the picture of the command alone doesn't help, we need to know when you made that command, and when you repeat it to update to the current position of the ball.

I haven't read through this thoroughly, and I won't, since you've got a solution now, but it almost sounds like you're after something fairly similar to this - x number of objects to move, x number of places to move it to, and you want something to happen when all the objects have been moved correctly (it's that last bit I'm not sure about - whether something should only happen when ALL of them have been placed, or something to happen with each one). Anyway, there might be something there you can take away for next time.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
