I'm quite new to RPGMaker XP. I just got it today, so I need some help with it.

How do you pick up items by using choice menu? Like if you ask 'Pick up key?' and you hit 'Yes' then you get a key? Or a weapon? For the life of me, I can't figure it out. Everything i try doesn't seem to work.

If you do answer, and if you don't mind, please explain in the least complicated way? Again. I'm new to ALL of it.

It would be most appreciated to have this answered as quickly as it can be.
Thank you!!!

It would be something like this:

Show Text: Pic up key?Show Choices: Yes, No[WHEN Yes] Change Items: Key +1 Control Self Switches: A = ON[WHEN No]and add a second page conditioned by self switch A that has no sprite or commands. This makes it so you can't pick up the same thing over and over.If you try and it doesn't work, take a screenshot of your event (include the WHOLE event window, not just the commands) and post it here so we can help pinpoint where you're going wrong.

having anxiety during all this virus stuff is the absolute worst. I'm the only one missing out on my friend's wedding in Sept. because I can't be in large groups of people anymore due to anxiety.
Well... I just spent most of the day making something I cant even use xD

The idea was to look at the original but at a medium distance.
In hindsight, I might as well have just edited the original lol... I didn't intend for it to end up so similar.
does anyone else feel tired after completing a sprite?
Fun fact: I always lower every tileset saturation (about 15%-25% of it) in my projects.
