How to Place A Visible Health Bar On the Top Side of Screen

Hey guys,

Was just wondering if you guys know how to place a visible health bar (not during battle mode) to the top left of the screen cuz I have been trying to figure this out for sometime and have been unable to solve this part through.

Here's a little diagram of what I intend to do below:-

(Note: the red shaded area is the position where I intend to place the health bar on)

you can use command event to show picture and update it every hp changes.

Isn't there a more generic way to do this? It would be great to be able to display variable specific gauges whenever the situation called for it--a remaining oxygen gauge for underwater dungeons, a morale gauge for sieges or a morality gauge for the status screen. I may be missing something obvious, because all of those seem like something I would make easy to add in an rpgmaker.

There is no such function in the default engine, but you can add Plugins/Scripts with that function.

They're usually called HUD-Plugins, please search for existing ones in the Plugin database.

But those are your only options: do it with parallel processes and pictures, or do it by scripts. The default engine doesn't have anything like that.

use SRD HudMaker plugin, which works nice on the map as well for in battle (if you make it there too).

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
