RPG Maker Forums

Okay, as this is my first post, I'll keep it simple. I'm concerned about players under-leveling. Is there anyway to design areas so that, no matter what (Aside from running from everything), players will be at the proper level by the time they leave? Do I just tweak the encounter rates and exp per enemy for each area? Or is there a more steam-lined way to go about it?

By the way, I'm not sure it's needed here, but my exp curve is [10, 10, 27, 41].

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
