Hello everyone,

I recently found myself wondering how to put items .PNG files in GameCharacterHub-PE.
And after reading guides that didn't help , and after searching the internet and the steam community, there are people who don't know how to import / add items to the item list in GameCharacterHub.

After a bit experimenting i found the solution, and it isn't hard at all.
So i decided to make a little guide to help out those who need it.

To start, download or create the items (Face, SV, Walk and Damage), and put them in the GameCharacterHub Folder.
This will make it appear in the item list, but they're stuck into the folders and you have to find the other items to make the result correct, its a mess but i explain how to make it easier.

There are 2 ways to do it, create a new template, but you have to add the grids and frames OR simply choose an MV character.

When ready, Add the 4 items in the right place, my example was an eyepatch, press the tab and add the item.

When done save the file and add it in the right folder.

Open GameCharacterHub-PE, add MV character, and add a body, then go to add items and go to the folder where your new item is.
It appears in the list.

The final result, it acts as a normal item you can add. you can't choose colors, so you have to colorize it.

I hope this guide was helpful.

Kind Regards,
Gallia

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
