Hi, i want to resize the hexagram graphic but don't know the grid for working. I think the selection box is bigger than 32x32. What is the grid for graphics???

And i want to make only one hexagram bigger so what should i put before the name $ or ! or !$ ???????

Pretty much all VX Ace graphics use 32x32. What you need to do is duplicate the original !Hexagram file, open it with Photoshop or Gimp, then adjust the size of their hexagrams how you see fit. This is easily done by using the Scale Image (this option is under the Image Menu in Gimp) and scale from 100% (original) to any percentage higher until you receive your desired size.

After that change the name of the Hexagram file to a different name (I chose !Hexagram2) then import and the editor should pick up the larger hexagram options for eventing.

Aye as Psyker said, but don't forget that some graphics might look very strange or low quality after resizing them, you might have to get a completely new one :3

Additionally, you can easily make copies of the in game RTP bits using the Resource Manager that's somewhere on the top bar of your maker!

Yeah, the image quality drops greatly. I think im gonna post it in the resource request if anyone can make a new one :D

@psyker,

i tried what u said but after scaling, the picture doesn't fit in the grid and as a result while using it in the editor , some parts are cut

No, they don't. Character graphics can be of almost any size as long as they're in proper format.

@gamers:

Just make sure there are 12 of the hexagrams in the picture (3 across, 4 down). Save it as $file and it will display properly.

Well I guess I should have said, most RTP graphics are 32x32.

This seemed to scale properly for me. All I had to do was add it as I stated, without the $ in front of the file. Then use the graphic in a event.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
