How to Set up an Intro

As I'm beginning to developing my game, I have a rather long intro. But as I make changes to the intro at the tail end, I have to re-watch my entire intro. I feel this might be a problem also as my game progresses that I'll have to play my game to reach where I want to test. Is there an easier way to test the small changes you make without having to play/watch from the beginning?

Set the starting point of your main character to the map you want to test. You might be able to test parts of your intro by copying the map your intro plays on and on the copied map only having the parts of the intro you want to test.
