How to simulate someone being blasted off a mountain Cx :P

Hello there   :D

So in my game Trinity, I am trying to create a scene where this one guy (shall remain nameless for now x] ) does some super punches on the main character (who shall also remain nameless xD) and the main character is then blasted off a mountain.  For some reason I don't really know how to achieve this ;-; so I was wondering what I could do XD

it looks pretty good so far man, all I have to say is the only thing making it look a little off is when you have the event that makes him go off the cliff you should put a define movement turn character 180* before you have him move off the cliff. That way he will still be facing the person that had hit him off of the cliff instead of turning around and then look like he is running off of it. do you get what I mean? If that doesnt work let me know and I can see if I can come up with something else.

Okay moog thanks ! I will see if this works :D (I'll edit this after I test it out :p ) EDIT: Okay! so I got part of it done (Thanks!) but after the punches, I wanted him to blast off but for some reason its really slow? I did do the change speed thing as well too >.<

I just had another thought but im not sure how it would look from the rear perspective but you could also have definite movement Jump right after the turn player 180* and just put in how ever many negative Y numbers it takes for him to be off screen. That could replace the "running" movement. Like i said it was just a thought and not sure if it would look right but you can try that as well :)

you can always add a falling se or something right before the jump movement and slow the speed of the sound down so it lasts however long you deemed long enough. That would help with the idea of it being a drop. leaving for work now so I will be back later tonight to see what you've come up with!

Looks great, no reason to add much more than a sound effect, and maybe some music to heighten the mood when the enemy is approaching, then some troubling music to stir some emotion in the player.

Gotta think to yourself, "What kind of image would I like to portray in the scene?" and then you'll have the answers you want.
