3)do i need to update one version by one version?


   Let's say i have rpg maker 1.0.0 and i want to update to 1.3.3.


   Do i need to update to 1.0.1....1.1.0......1.2...so on


   or i only need to download the latest one?

There is a linked topic on top about the 1.3.3 Update that contains instructions on how to update.


If you have the steam version, that updates the editor automatically - otherwise you need to follow those instructions.


Projects always need to be updated manually with the instructions given in that topic - don't forget to make a backup like described there.


Usually you only need the latest update (especially for the editor it doesn't matter), but some people reported minor problems in the projects when skipping over too many versions.

if i only download/update the latest version,will the previous update feature be included in this version too?


It is recommended to download the latest version only or all the previous one too?

The latest version (1.3.4 at the time of redaction...) is complete, and has no need of previous versions. The Update, however, is best applied only  to the preceding version (ie: 1.3.3...) If in doubt, download the complete version.

I download and run the updater of rpgmaker mv 1.3.4,but it says RPG maker MV haven't been updated.what should I do?


I am currently at RPG maker 1.0.0.


I don't want to download the full installer because I not really sure how to do it ,don't know how does it work and afraid the file will be too big by mixing the two version togethet.do I need to uninstall my current RPG maker MV before downloading the update or should I just download it and run it?


Is there any video that can teach me how to update?

the way to use the full installer is to deinstall the editor you have now by the windows deinstall control, then run the full installer to reinstall the new version.


Depending on how the deinstaller works you might be required to put in your key again, but if I remember correctly that is not needed.


And you should do that - the jump from 1.0.0 to 1.3.4 is too big to be handled without a full install (which is why the updater fails)
