Hello,

Hello,

I have seen in this video, (5.20)
that when making an attack the character moves around the screen. The truth is that it looks very cool.

I understand that in order to do it I need the Action Sequence2 with the battle engine.
But when I try to do the text I see it very complicated.

Even if it wasn't the same, someone can make an example with all the text I need to write to do something similar.
With an example I could use it to experiment later.

Thank you very much.

Try reading the help files within the plugin. They explain what each does

https://sergeofbibek.github.io/ActionSequenceIDE/ There is also this for testing stuff out. It has a basic one by default that you can play around with.

The basic stuff I use to move battlers around is this:
Code:
move user: target, front base, 10
  wait: 9
The "target" makes the user moves to the target, the "front base" is where on the target, and the number is the frames to get there. There is a lot of wiggle room you can do (and you can also offset it if your battlers are differently shaped). Definitely read the help file and play around with the github link. It helps a lot.

i m not very skilled in this myself(not enough for Explanations), but i can give u 2 Examples copy/pasted from the Default SRPG Demo..
( from https://ryanbram.itch.io/srpg-engine-demo )

then u got something to experiment, perhaps that helps better to figure out how it works ..

Thank you,

The thing is there are so many variables and I couldn't figure out how to fit them together... i read the notes but i dont understand much in this case o_O

I spent all afternoon yesterday doing this:

now the special skills show the weapon, I still have to make the character move to the enemy.(for swords)
With stronger skills... it's to make more moves.

I understand that this is very very simple and noob, but I've only been using the program for a few weeks...when many of you will be using it for years. :p

Honestly, I just started using it last monthish. Once you get a handle on it and start fiddling around, you'll find what works for you.

There's a pinned thread on this very board with dozens of pre-made sequences, almost a hundred pages of people discussing the plugins, and theorizing how to do certain things. Check it out if you want some ideas.

Recently discovered that an old member called "Kaus" stole some tilesets and claim as yours, and some people associate his nick with mine.
Besides having the same name, he was publishing tilesets too. Bad luck? Guess maybe I'll need to change my nickname... :(
