The art style I want to use for my upcoming game is going to be a lot like The Binding Of Isaac Rebirth, where the sprites are almost flash-like, but still sprites.
Doing a sprite of that resolution, and importing it into RPG Maker MV, causes the character to be Massive compared to the rest of the game.
Is there any possible way to keep the resolution the same, but size the actual character graphic down? If that makes sense?
Here are some images showing what I mean.
Here's a sprite of a slime in the default resolution:
Here's a sprite of an HD slime, as it is imported into the game.
I'm looking to make that HD slime around the same size as the one before it, but less pixely, if you know what I mean. This isn't the best example, but I basically want HD graphics without honka-donka sprites clogging the screen.
