How well does RPG Maker handle dynamic mini games?

I'm new to RPG Maker and I've been thinking about making an rpg game with little mini games as a core mechanic (think like Undertale's combat when dodging stuff). Would this be possible in RPG Maker? Or would I be better off going with GameMaker Studio?

it depends on what kind of "minigame". some sort of puzzles are extremely easy to do, others would require some work, and some would be impossible to do without programming knowledge.

If you're looking for Undertale's battle system, SumRndmDde has that. Otherwise, it's all in eventing.

Thanks, this is interesting! I'm considering doing a "bullet hell" like Undertale as well as some of my own. Perhaps some rhythm mini game too.

I have some programming knowledge and willing to learn more. I'm thinking more action-y minigames like bullet hell like undertale or a rhythm based one. Still brainstorming more ideas but I would like to implement multiple.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
