.........yup. I realize about how strong our mind playing video games, and suddenly you make an image in your mind.....like you are in that video games, or watching movies in the video games.

For example, I played Fire Emblem. I like to read conversations but their faces are.....still. Yeah, less emotion. Just smile and talk. No expression from their faces, just the dialogues. So, I read one by one, ‘generate’ my mind and imagine what are they doing. And my favorite part is the conversation between Jafar and Nino. I love their conversation but the game don’t have image what are they doing. So, I ‘draw’ the image in my mind and.....yeah. I can feel the scene. Just like reading novel but visualize in mind.

You guys did too?

You're not the only one.

Another thing too is I liked it when there were no voice acting in a game. It can make or break a game for me. Part of the reason why I hate FFX (and even still) is because I cannot stand Tidus's ENG voice actor and the worst part is I can't turn it off.

I do this as well! Sometimes I notice myself physically moving my mouth, silently, as I sound out the actual "voice" of the character in my head, complete with facial expressions and body motions. I do this with books and such, too, but I find it even easier with video games, where I have something concrete in front of my eyes to latch onto for basic ideas.

Yep, my experiences reading game dialogue are almost exactly like reading a book. I see the scene in my head and inflect dialogue in several voices. It's certainly nice when the actual in-game is spiffed up with facial expressions and other amenities but as long as the writing is good, my brain fills in the blanks just fine. Another thing I love doing when I'm playing a game with a friend or my husband is to actually do our own dramatic readings, with gusto! RPGs don't have to be a single player game if you don't want them to be!

I do this stuff also with turn based battles. Assuming how in real life, battles are all real time, I piece together the actions that happen each turn into a smooth, continuous scene in my mind, and it often looks like an epic fight.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
