Hey, everyone!

I'm RedLily1104, but you can call me Red Lily. I've been a longtime fan of RPGs, visual novels, and overall games with strong stories and interesting characters. A few longtime favorites are Xenosaga, Kingdom Hearts, and Final Fantasy. I have some RPGs of my own in the conceptual phase, both with RPG Maker MV. It wasn't until recently that I was able to get my hands on the engine, and I'm very much looking forward to seeing these games come to fruition.

Here's to the interesting adventures down the line ^^

Alright, first question (not sure if this counts as a double post) :

I've been looking at some RPGs that I used to play, and one that stood out to me was the Xenosaga trilogy. What happens is that there are enemies on the map to avoid and sneak by. If one sees you, they'll chase you. If they catch you, the battle starts. And if they don't catch you after chasing you for a while, they go back to their post. These enemies roam around until they notice you.

I've been trying to mess with the QABS plugin to see if I could achieve this, but it seems I've hit a dead end. How would this style of map encounter be achieved?

I do believe it would be best to start another thread as you are more likely for people to see. But to answer your question, I have always used the Event Chase plugin from Yanfly to have enemies on the map that you can either engage or avoid. I am not completely sure on that. I do not use QPlugins myself. However, if it does not work with it, you could always make a request in the proper forum to see if someone could make a patch. It never hurts to ask ^_^
