Hello!
I've been an RPG Maker fan since RPG Maker 2000. I've tried most of the versions since then although I never got around to buying VX Ace. Now that MV is out I absolutely love it. I'm a web developer and I work with JavaScript all day at work so I was really excited that the whole engine is in a language I'm very familiar with. The power and potential in MV is astounding and having the entire DOM and HTML/CSS available really opens up the possibilities!
My primary activity is plugin design. I've posted my first attempt at a battle math plugin (with some cool stuff like Zodiac Bonus, Map-Boosted Elements and D&D Dice Roll Damage) so hopefully I get approved soon so my posts show up. I'm also very handy with JavaScript and web development in general and I love to help people so you will probably see me hanging around any help threads trying to preach the gospel of JavaScript. I might even post about my game one day. For now I just have a bunch of mind maps and ideas. I highly recommend http://draw.io for mapping our your ideas and keeping yourself organized.
Cheers.
P.S. The hardest part is the graphics. I actually have a degree in animation so you'd think I'd be king at graphics but the small-resolution graphics and tile/character sets are just daunting. Any help on finding better assets would be greatly appreciated. For now I've conceded to just use the character generator for the main party since SV battlers are a rare treasure (but who doesn't love classic SV RPGs?!).
EDIT: I really hope I can get approved soon, it's been almost 48 hours ...
