Just wanted to let you folks know, I just saw the Humble Bundle Game Maker sale break $100,000.

Pretty big number, almost 10,000 bundles sold.

Really great stuff, and I couldn't believe how fast the numbers were climbing at times.

Crazy stuff people.

Good luck to those entering.

~Edit~ Up to almost $7000 on the IGMC Prize money, and just broke 10,000 Bundles. Woot.

I know I had nothing to do with all this, but I still feel excited. Sue me.

Not really - if I remember correctly, last year's sale broke the million (with a large margin above actually)

Ahhhh, well it seemed like a lot to me.

$100K after just a few hours, that's pretty hefty in my opinion.

There's still 13 days to go, I made a couple small donations to get the bundle for my Step-brother and my Pops,

gonna grab the full bundle in a couple days when I get some more cash.

Hope it blows last year out of the water.

Seems the RM community is broader than I thought o_O I didn't think you had that much marketing to pull out those numbers... This is crazy!

I doubt it has a huge impact to this community's productivity. A lot of buyers just buy and claim their keys out of "principle."

Generally on humble bundle I just grab new keys because I collect games for no reason, but I did spread this one to all my buddies who've grown interested in RPG Maker after hearing what I've been doing with it.

I bought it because of aveyond, seriously. All the others are well, would just sit on my steam account probably.

I bought it, because of the Luna Engine. Even if I already owned RPG Maker XP and VX Ace. However it's a bit sad that I need to download Humble Bundle New DLC Pack to get some of the RPG Maker DLCs in it, it would have been way better, if I could activate those dlcs in this pack via Steam. :/ So that they reinstall themself when I need to format my PC for example.

They do need to be separate because they have a different license than the ones on steam and on this site..

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
