@Saito S: Steam won't let you download the DLC unless you have Ace, but other than that there are no special restrictions. You can use your non-steam stuff on your steam copy of Ace and your steam resources on your non-steam copy of any maker.

Grrrr..... Fought joining Steam for years and now you guys throw something like this in front of me...

Question 1) Once I download everything, will I be able to yank out all the resources, games, etc... and use them outside of Steam (ie: so I can remove Steam from my computer once it's done?).

I do have a lot of the stuff, and probable bits and bobs of other things, but $12+ (I'll probably splurge and go $15-20 if it all goes to charity) to see a bunch of commercial RPG Maker game releases is too good an opportunity to pass up I think...

Question 2) Will I be able to give the download Steam keys (assuming I don't use them, like for Ace and High Fantasy I that I already have to somebody else for them to use?

Edit: and for all the people on Steam who supposedly (I don't check Steam, so I don't know) say "RPG Maker sucks!" that total bought ticker just keeps on clicking...

Yes I have.  Some of the contents of each of the 3 DLCs had to be downloaded separately, and I've done that, so I know that the activation keys for them worked.  I also know that you have to navigate to some folder or other to get the DLCs, but I don't know what that folder is, or where it is.
Your folder location should be similar to this

F:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\RPGVXAce\dlc

Just replace F: with whatever drive you actually downloaded Steam to.

Thanks Sharm. I wasn't sure if it still needed to see Steam somewhere on your machine once you moved everything around...

Thanks for the info Sharm!

Just one point of clarification: It won't let me download DLC packs through Steam unless I have Ace. Does that mean, Ace on my computer, or STEAM Ace on my computer?

In other words: I already have Ace, which I bought here, but have never bought any RPGM anything through Steam. So, if I buy this Humble Bundle (which includes Ace for Steam, correct?), can I give the key for Ace away to someone else? Or do I need to activate a copy of "Steam Ace" on my computer in order to download these DLC packs through Steam? Hope that makes sense...

It won't let you download it unless you have Steam Ace. Steam's like that.

Steam's not AS invasive as it used to be; I put off using it for years including not playing newly released shogun 2 total war that a friend bought for me just to be nice, because steam had to have steam installed to play it. Now I buy most of my games through it.

Awesomeness beyond description -- wonderful stuff for great causes (charity & developers & Humble Bundle) and now I have extras I can gift!

@DLC download questions -- I don't know if this was addressed, but I went back to the Humble Bundle site and downloaded all the DLCs from there, don't think there are any requirements to have Ace like Steam does (please correct me if I'm wrong).  I only used Steam to install XP.

Thank you RPG Maker and rpgmakerweb! :)

Yay! Finally you're selling the products for a fair price. While I already own most of this, I am happy to buy another copy to support charity.

This is amazing :o

Just bought it even though I already own the two makers and some of the DLC (and one of the games even :) ).

Child's Play (not to be confused with possessed killer toys) is great. It was founded by the guys behind Penny Arcade. Degica has done donations to the charity from some of Member+'s sales.

I'm very ecstatic that we can take place in this bundle and help such a cool cause.

You only need to pay $1 for the first tier - unless it's stuff in other tiers you're after?

Oh, can't you give a parent the $1 (or whatever) and get them to pay instead or something?

So, I still would like to know: is the top tier worth it? Is all the DLC good stuff that'll really help?

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
