I'm considering getting this, but I have a few questions.

First off, has anyone here tried Game Guru, AGFPRO, or Stencyl before? Every game engine is "easy to use" and "intuitive," and all that, but I was wondering if anyone would be able to reassure me on that. The RPG Makers are about the only engine I've found to actually be easy to use.

Secondly, how does Stencyl's 1-year license thing work? Does that mean I have a year to publish the game before I have to renew my subscription, or that my finished game has to be taken down after a year, or what?

Thirdly, how versatile are the resources in the Humble Bundle DLC packs? Are they for use only with specific engines? If I buy the bundle will I have all the engines I need to make use of those resources?

Finally, I'll second Jackus' question about whether I should wait to see what's "coming soon."

AGFPRO seems primarily for developing environments for Unity (if its the same thing I am thinking of) - so if you don't use Unity, not sure how helpful this is.

GameGuru is pretty easy to use and lets you make rather low-res first-person-shooters. It isn't bad software, but seems very limited from what I have experienced in the short amount of time I spent using it.

Stencyl looks very much like Construct 2 in how you put together games via drag and dropping and then creating your game logic with pre-built modules and functions. More complicated than RPGMaker but easier than building a game from scratch.

It's cumbersome, slow and not nearly as easy to use as promised. I would rather use Unity on its own.

12 dollars for all this stuff was a steal. What is wrong with you people? Don't you want to make money?

I've followed the link, but when I try to make my purchase I get the full price:
Did you enter the coupon code at the page you made the screenshot from?

That's the thing, I wasn't able to find a coupon code in my humble bundle purchase. On the main page I could only find the link to the shop and an instruction how to enter the coupon code (from the download page) on the store.

Didn't see anything on my download page that looked like a coupon code.

And my humble bundle coupon code page looks like:

I basically use the AGF for making background pictures for my games. It's helpful when you want some nice backgrounds yet you don't have skills to draw them from scratch ;)

And when I asked the devs of AGF, they said it's OK to use screen shots of the soft for your RM games. (But some DLCs can't be, because the artist is different. Ask them when you're not sure ;) )

Well anyway, the bundle is nothing but crazy! It's stunning, really XD

...Sad thing is that I already have many of them... Yet still good enough that I can get Luna engine and some other resources for great price :)

BTW, I always look for IGMaker for these types of sales... *looking up with puppy's eyes*

Wow, £7.76 ($12) for ALL THAT? Sure, I already own RPG Maker VX Ace, but everything else? YES PLEASE!!!

Edit: Seems like there is gonna be a lot of us giving away keys for VX Ace Deluxe over the next few days :p .

The coupon isn't a humble coupon, its the text directly above the link you clicked.

Edit: sorry for posting german first, it's late here

I believe Humble Bundle will let you increase your "donation" at any time to get to a higher bracket if there is something you want that you didn't see before.

Edit: Read here: https://support.humblebundle.com/hc/en-us/articles/202394324-How-To-Unlock-More-Games

Edit2: It was speculated by someone that the "more to come" is 2 more game engines, due to the two ??? in the Best Game Made in category.

This year's bundle has different game engines, more art packs, animation software, and games.

Last year it was all RPG Maker related software. This year is much more broad.

There is more software included this time around (Styncyl, AGFPro, GameGuru) as well as graphics-making software like Spriter Pro. There are a ton of resource bundles (including some Humble Bundle exclusives).

I got the bundle last year and got it again this year and there are a lot of different things this time around that were not in last year's. Definitely worth the month in my opinion.

Is this Humble Bundle going on through the entirety of IGMC?

If I want to make a game and use the Lunar engine, do I have to start from scratch?

Depends on what you have done until then (especially which scripts you added already)
But please ask in the LUNA forum, not in this topic.
