Is there any method or plugin to play a SE when an enemy is dead? Better if it can play a SE for every hit as well.

I tried BattleVoiceMZ, it works perfectly for actors, but does not work for enemy. I can also see AkeaBattleCry but I don't understand how to use it at all with limited instruction, it appears requiring Akea Battle System, I'm not so sure.

I also tried Battle Event to set condition enemy HP<=0%, then play a SE, but it does not work for the last enemy.

Appreciate any help.

If nothing else, there are workarounds for the troop event method.

1) You can make enemies immortal, then have your event play the sound effect before removing the immortal state to let them die.

2) There are plugins that make troop events get evaluated before battle ends.

Do you know the name of that plugin? Would be really helpful if the troop events can be evaluated before battle ends. Thank you very much!

Well, they exist for MV, anyway, and they pop right up with a Google. If the associated function names didn't change, they might work in MZ, and if they don't they might work via FOSSIL.

I'm surprised the functionality doesn't appear to have been recreated for MZ, it's a pretty common topic.

Thank you very much, I tried End Phase Triggers MV by HimeWorks.

It appears to be working without using FOSSIL, I will test further.
