Well.... this issue is probably simple to solve and I may look like an idiot, but here me out.

But here's the thing, months ago I tried RPG VX Ace's trail version, liked it, then I tried MV's trail version, loved it (Minus the serious lagging but thanks to some plugins that's been resolved). So I decided to buy MV using a paypal account.

And I happened to notice something............

I was told that purchasing the full version of MV would get me the rest of the resources, audio, background, character parts, etc. Now I did get the backgrounds and the character parts. But I did not get any knew audio files (This includes BGM, SE, and anything else). Now I read on some forums that you can find those missing resources in the programs files for RPG Maker MV, in something called "Base Resources". Some have said it is in your DLC folder on RPG Maker MV's steam page.

Thing is, I don't have a "Base Resource" folder and I DIDN'T BUY THE PROGRAM THROUGH STEAM (nor do I have a steam account), I bought it through the main website. This is honestly infuriating, the additions to the backgrounds and Character Generator were noticeable, but I can't for the life of me find the missing audio resources.

If anyone can help a poor soul like me, then you can either tell me WHERE EXACTLY I NEED TO GO to find those missing resource or provide me with a download link. As I reward, I am currently developing an awesome commercial game, and I will give you a free copy if you help me out :)

In the case of the standalone version, the base resource folder should be in the program folder itself - if you installed the large full installer (download >1 GB or so). However, some purchases get the base resources as a different download link , in that case you need to download them from your account or from the email with the info you got.

Sorry, can't tell how it is handled at the moment since I'm not an employee, both versions were used in different times in the past - if these tips don't help you find the resources, please send a sale ticket through the support system top right.

EDIT: if everything fails and you want the resources fast, simply use your key from the standalone version to activate the steam version - you got both by purchasing here)

1) Go to rpgmakerweb.com.
2) Log in to your RPGMakerWeb account.
3) Click on "Your Account" at the top of the screen.
4) Click on the order number for your MV order.
5) Click the download button for each asset. There are a total of six download files. What you're looking for should be in the files BaseResource.zip and extra-assets.zip.
6) Copy the files to the appropriate (existing) folders of your MV program, wherever you have installed it.
7) Enjoy!

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
