Hey, I don't see anything wrong with it, can you post a video or something or tell us what happens? does it get a nil damage or something?

The player/class/item's HIT should be 100% (ideally).

I found the solution :)

It happens because I put a big value for DEF...

Now I give it 90..

I suspected your problem was the DEF value being too high.


Yeah, one of silly things this engine likes to do is to tell that zero damage is "miss" or something.

Yeah, I was suspecting the DEF, it was the next question, but gone to another place hehe. Glad you got it fixed :) Glad that it's fun to you also learning the engine :D

Well, it used to be a long long time ago in an RPG Maker far away...  You could change the engine to say "no damage!" instead of "miss" via the database.  But, those were the days of RPG Maker 2000.  I'm not even sure there's an option to change that in this maker.

Whenever you can't hit an enemy, always look at your damage formulas and your defense stats.  That's usually the best place to start troubleshooting as the game is less than helpful when it tells you "Miss!" or what-have-you in combat.  After you've troubleshooted that, then you move on to hit rate and evade rate as those are your next suspects.

Just a generalized rule for working with the maker.  Glad you found some help.  Have a nice day!
