Hey all, i'm new to RMMV, I've been recently watching a lot of tutorials online on how to put your own sprites into your project, but even though I follow every step carefully I can't seem to be able to load any of my sprites in it...

I should mention that my sprites aren't the same size as the default ones from the generator.

I used photoshop for them, today I tried to add my own spritesheet which looks something like this (it's my first attempt EVER, so don't laugh):

and:

I know... I know... it's supposed to have 3 frames of movement in 4 different directions, but i just wanted to try it out to see how it looks in-game before I keep making any progress that I may regret.

So what I did was export a regular sprite sheet to photoshop, went to image--->image size and stretched it to fit my own sprites

Then I lined them up carefully, and i'm SURE I did it the same way I saw in the tutorials online for taller sprites (lined up feet and centered)

I saved it as a new file with the $ in front inside the characters folder in my project, so i'm sure it's not a problem related to the location of the files, the actual problem is that I can't choose the sprites once I try to load them!

I'm being as thorough as I can because even though I keep looking online, no one seems to have an answer to my problem!
What I'd really appreciate would be if someone where to tell me what i'm actually doing wrong and maybe JUST MAYBE modify the file or tell me exactly what to do next?? Thank you all in advance, I'm happy to finally join this community after so long!

Remove the $ from the filename, because you have a sheet for 4*2 sprites (it doesn't matter if that spaces is used or not), and $ is the key for sprite sheets with a single 3*4 sprite and nothing else.
Additionally, remove the spaces from the filename. All filenames have to follow networking specifications or you get other problems as well.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
