I can't save anything on RpG Maker XP. I can't even make a new project!

No matter what I do, I can't get RpG Maker XP to save anything. Every time I try, this window keeps popping up, "Do you want to save changes?" when I try to test run, close the program or even open another project I have. And when I try to make a new project, there is an error message that says that it failed. What do I do?

Where are your project files located? Are they in "My Documents" folder or somewhere else?
If they are not in "My Documents", then that's probably your problem.

you need to redirect the folder for the creation of projects in the window when you try to create the new project.

The default folder used by RMXP (and WindowsXP) has become a restricted folder in Windows Vista and later and it cannot be used for saving anymore.

I did not know this, and moving them worked. For some reason, in my Download folder, but whatever! Thanks for the help!
