I did a cutscene and now my main actor won't move

heres the problem I finally finished my cutscene and now no matter where I put my starting position my main actor won't move. I started him in three different places and no matter what I do it won't give me control of the main actor anymore.

If it's after a cutscene playing, I bet the problem would lie from a continually running Autorun event?

if it's not that, more specifics would be needed on how the cutscene event was structured.

well the weird thing is I had everything working the night before. It finished the cut scene and worked fine so I left it up while I went to bed. So then I went to show my brother today and no matter what I would do the main player wouldn't move I ever started him in different places. Because I thought the same as you I thought that it was because the cut scene but I put him to where he would be able to explore the town and still no control. It's comepletely strange with it working the night before.

It could be as simple as accidentally putting them down on unpassable tiles on your map...! I've done this an embarrassing amount of times...

nah cause if that was the case all three random places that I put him couldn't be unpassable I even put him in the middle of town maybe those tiles got set to unpassable but I dunno

I tried to upload the game but it wants me to upload each indavidual file instead of the whole folder let me try and zip it

Can you turn the actor?
Which means, if you try to move up and down, does the sprite change when pressing the arrow keys or not?


Not turning: Problem with an autorun somewhere


Is turning: Problem with passability settings (most probably deleted the star from the first B tile).

I found the problem

It's this event.

It was set to autorun. Hehe.

Protip: "Autorun" are for events that you want to have complete, unaltered control of in a scene. "Parallel Process" events are ones you want to keep running in the background but still have control/run other events alongside of. Be careful with how you use the two, as bugs like this and many others can happen.
