i do not know what software to use to draw custom content

i do not know how and what software/app to use for custom content i have two options a pc and a phone, the only drawing app i know is ibis paint x i do know about ps aka photoshop theres a 7 days free trial but i do not have a credit card help would be appreciated thanks. im also new i only started 8 hours ago

Why not Google "free image editor"?

You could also Google "RPG Maker image editor" and find plenty of threads on here discussing what people use.

The most popular free editor is GIMP, but there are a variety of things available to you.

If you come across any specific questions about a piece of software, there are plenty of artists on here who can help you. When asking questions, I always suggest you take a few moments to make sure your posts have basic formatting - capitalization, sentences, and line breaks. It's a bit difficult to decipher your post clearly.

Krita, GIMP, paint.net are all free ones. Find Krita and paint.net best for my purposes, GIMP is more like photoshop.

Affinity is paid but not a subscription and not ridiculously priced like photoshop.

i use pixilart.com/draw to make my art it is fairly simplistic and tends to look crude, but it works and is free.

I second pixelart.com because the environment for making pixel art is already setup and ready to go, where as with programs like GIMP and PS, you gotta set it up yourself, the latter though (from experience) being easier.

I like Krita for its brush options and pop-up palette, but I've recently switched from drawing on my laptop with a Wacom tablet to a Samsung tablet, and I like the way that Clip Studio has integrated hand gestures into the interface. It might be my new favorite.
