Hi !

I would like to recieve submissions for paid scripts. At the moment , I need 4 but this number might change. Anyways I'll start by saying I'm sorry for my bad English for I'm french.

The story :

I'll admit I was greatly inspired by Tales series, Monster Rancher and Suikoden to make this game, along with guardian crusade.

The name of my game is Les terres de Gratzol, where you play a pirate that captures a town and has 3 storyplay choices. Take part in the war between the factions that are always fighting to expand borders by joining either side described as the ''good'' and the ''bad'', or then choose to establish a neutral commercial nation. In both case, the town the player captures is always the center of the story for it is his/her  HQ. The player has to recruit people to populate his town , build necessarities like fortifications, farms , barracks etc. It is set in a strange place where they discover the city is basically build upon old catacombs, and the main ennemy of the first chapters become an ally by ruling over the catacombs. So for the first time , zombies, banshees and ghosts are allies instead of foes. The atmosphere of the game is meant to be a good balance between humor and tragedy with some intensier emotional parts. When I say I was inspired by Tales, it's mostly the goodies that can be crafted, traded and cooked. For the guardian crusade part it's the spirit that someone alone can't achieve greater goods. Alone we go faster, together we go farther . For the suikoden part it's the neccessity to gather yourself some individuals and to give screentime to those people. Each ''important'' people recruited will have the option (not obligatory) to be played on a short scenario (around 15 mins each) to explain or tell the tale of what they were doing before they met you.

I'm making it so if people rush through main quests it will take around 15 hours to pass, but if people do extended storylines they'll end up with around 60 hours gameplay.

The scripts.

1st one : I need to be able to make variables like step or time count for a trade system. Or if you have a better idea to make a trade system like in the suikodens where prices always change. The idea is that the player will be tempted to walk to the places to sell goods for higher prices than if he teleported. This said , I need the variable to be used the same as if the player goes by foot or if he goes by horse. Maybe it could work with a switch , up to you for the complexity. I am not a scripter. Just keep in mind that later when recruiting a guild master, the player will be able to send caravans instead of going by himself. The caravans will travel through camels.

2nd : To encourage the player recruiting staff and constructing things like a bakery (where the player will be able to buy bread too), brewery (you get the spirit) , etc .  Like If there could be a way to set like bakery (wich I created as an item that activates a switch to make the bakery appear on map via enventing map) to give 450 gold income daily , or a variable that makes it so when the player leaves town for some time when he comes back to the treasury bookworm, the clercks tell him : Here are the profits of your businesses my lord. Then handle X money.  What I really want is for the variables (Money in this case) to be affected either by time or distance, and be compilated for a total ammount given each time the player enters town and goes to see the dude. So if you get my point, I don't want neither that the player can just leave and enter back and gain midas's wealth. He actually have to walk or wait for some time.

3rd: The third one is closely related to the 4th one for it is a deciding value. Through the game you will be able to recruit generals as well as build barracks. The requisite to build barracks is through switches, so no need to worry for the constructions in the script. What I would like is for generals, fighting characters and barracks to generate soldiers on a battlefield like in suikoden 2 and 3. I really didn't like the real time battles of the sequels. Like when it comes to make squads (like peons on a chessboard) like 1 peon per 100 soldier value. I.E  3 generals at 50 soldier value + 2 barracks at 75 soldier value generates a total 3 peons (300 soldier value). To make it simplier  , each peon could have 100 or 200 hp. I don't really mind because I am not competent in those things. What is important is that each squad be represented by a warrior graphic for use on script 4.

4th: The fourth one as you can have guessed is a battle system like the strategic fights in suikoden 3, and if it is too complex like shining force. I know lot of people have tried and let go of the idea, that is why I am willing to pay. I want recruited fighters to be the sprite on the map, and i want it to add a value set like in notetag or whatever you think of to add ''HP'' to the normal soldier squad with abilities. Like if the priestess comes on play , I want her to be able to heal damaged squads. The mage to be able to cast spells to affect the squads. What I will be able to do can be up to you , I really don't mind as long as you can make a battle system. I trust your creativity.

Now for the terms :

I am not a published game maker, neither a billionnaire. I work at a 10$ a hour rate and I am ready to pay the just price. What I ask of you is to be honest and if you want to make a script for me and only me, meaning exclusivity, I can pay more. If you plan on redistributing the scritp , I want to know, and my only exigence is that you wait till my game comes out, and hope you will charge me less since it's not an exclusivity. Most of my budget will go on script 3 and 4.  If you prefer, you can PM me for your submission.

Otherwise , know that the payment will be 1/3rd before production , 1/3rd mid production, 1/3rd on the final script delivery.

Thanks alot !

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
