I need info for a game

Hello my name is Hummingbirdfeeder, I'm currently designing a new game with a name I shall not say in this forum. But, for me to complete it I need help with a few things and if you could help that would be VERY VERY HELPFUL! 

The problems go in this order...

1. I need a gramophone that has a crank that moves.

2. I need help making custom faces for my characters.

3. I need help inserting a SMALL amount of sound into the files.

4. I need help with making scenes with pictures still ones like in comics.

5. (if possible) i need an oval shaped light on the ground with table in it.

6. I need a table to seat two characters.

7. I need to know how to make my characters sit.

You will need to provide a lot more information. Please post the sprite you want a face for, perhaps. Or do you want to learn to make them yourself?????

Do you have other sound files you are trying to edit into existing RTP sound files? Can you elaborate?


4. I need help with making scenes with pictures still ones like in comics.

No idea what this means.....

Have you seen the RTP wooden table? What is the problem with that one? What kind of table do you need?


7. I need to know how to make my characters sit.


Does this mean you need seated sprites? You'll need to provide the standing sprites...

Apparently I made my question very unclear and im so sorry about that. (My appologies)

Here is a clearer set PROMISE!

1. I need a gramophone that has a crank that moves.

2. I need help making custom faces for my characters like the ones that come with the software one that will show up next to the name when they talk.

4. I need help with making scenes with pictures still ones like in comics like animations.

7. I need to know how to make my characters sit.

Hope that's better and I'm sorry for posting this in the wrong section of forums I'm new to the whole forums thing!

There's a pinned topic that has some good recommendations on how to make a request.  It would help to read it through and follow what it says.  The main thing that I'm seeing is no information that an artist would need to make some of the stuff you're asking for.

1. What tiles are you using?  Artist need to know that so they can make something that matches.

2. There's no information on what the characters look like or even how many of them there are.  There are also two types of faces that come with Ace, the character generator and the premade faces.

4.  How many pictures?  What size?  What are the pictures of?  Or are you looking to recruit an artist?  If so, this is the wrong section, you'll need to make a new thread in the recruitment section.  The rules are stricter there, be sure to read up on them.

7.  You make them sit by drawing a version of the sprite with them sitting and eventing it appropriately.  If you want someone to help you modify a sprite to be sitting you'll need to provide the sprite you want modified.

I am really unclear about what you need for number 4 but I am wondering if you are trying to describe a cutscene.

You will have to request the crank, but that is not too hard to ask for.

Yes I do mean a cutscene! But it's just one picture. Like the picture will stay still but the dialog will go on through it.

Well if you were looking for a resource you might be looking for the image that would be in the background and that request would belong here. If you wanted to know how to make something like that work you would ask for help with that in the support forum. Are you looking for a background image or do you already have one?

You need to work through the tutorials to learn the basics of RM then, including how to use the resource manager.
