Can you explain what a 'Quick Time Event' system is? When I hear QuickTime, Apple's video player comes to mind.

Lol, It's the thingy in some games where something happens and you need to quickly press a button or bad stuff happens like um... here

(where did spoiler go!?! I'll just hyperlink it HERE)

There are a bunch for MV, I just can't remember who... um... I'll ponder on it.

Imagine : an arrow pointing to the left to the character, the player has to push left buttin on his gamepad.

Litteraly QTE are just timed action binded to gamepad or keyboard key.

There is no need for a plugin if he wants to that on the map since he could code that in event.

He only need a plugin for the battle system.

This is only for outside battle.

It sould work in Rpg maker Mv because the event commands are "almost" the same whatever the version you use.
So thank you but that is not what I need.

I need something like this (Picture edited in paint to illustrate) and if button "A" get pressed picture "A" is disappears etc.

if I remember well something like this was for rpg maker vx /vx ace

I stumbled upon 2 articles about why time goes faster as we age, and how to "slow down time".
Check them out, very interesting read. :D

Anyone can recommend a good gaming mouse? My mouse wheel has given up. Last mouse was steel series diablo iii edition (I know, it's been a while)
And then I figured out a way to doing a "regular animation" that's affected by PIXI particles. So now each frame of the animation gets particle effects. Soon my dreams of a world without QSprite will be realized. :kaopride:
Currently every NPC in my RPG gets a name, its kinda useless to name all, but Its also cool, somehow.
Biggest prob is to come up with different names. xD
I'm back from my visit to my family. Was really great to see them again after a year even if I had to get tested for covid for the visit.
