If I change the Passability of the wall tiles(which are on the tileset in SS), my char can't move(yes, all the floor tiles are set to O), I tried doing it by way of the 4 direction as well, and the char can't move then either.

This whole thing doesn't make sense, why should an effect to one tile, be effecting other tiles?

Also for some reason the 1st tile in that tileset wont work, if you select it, and try placing it down, nothing shows up(that why I had to use the sky wall blocks instead).

Is the top left in page B a star? That needs to be a star or else passability gets very messed up.

When making custom tilesets the very first tile in tile b needs to be blank and the passability set to *. Setting that first tile in B to O will make every tile passable while setting it to X makes none passable.

Edit: why do I even bother... always so slow.

Uhm, the upper left tile of B set should always be blank and set to star... That seems to be an absolute rule

Um no it Isn't(why must it be lol), I'll give it a try.

Lmfao(guess that explains why tilesets I buy, tend to have a useless star in the first slot) that is ******ed, what was the reason for this?

Well thanks, that fixed it.

According to the Help File:

Sets B through E
These sets are handled as upper layer tiles during map drawing.

Each is sized 512 × 512 and you should place 16 × 16 of these tiles therein.

The tile on the furthest upper left of set B is for representing nothing placed on the upper layer, so make sure to leave it empty.

And

A star also means a passable tile, but the character will be hidden behind a structure (can only be set for tiles in tabs other than A).

I think by default, any tile square on the map that doesn't have a B through E tile on it will technically have that one blank top-left B tile with the Star passability.

Hm ok, I guess I'll be redoing this tileset then(atleast there aren't many), I need to add a counter icon anyway(I can't seem to find a counter out of all the tilesets I have).

Not exactly...

A-Tiles represent the ground and are placed on the bottom layer of the map.

B to E Tiles usually represent objects placed on the ground, and go into the upper layer of the map.

The passability for B to E thereby has two effects that differ depending on the setting:

Cross: Object is impassable (override A-tile-passability), placement is on upper tile layer, but below player

Circle: Object is passable (override A-Tile-passability), placement is on upper tile layer, but below player

Star: Use A-tile-passability (NO override), placement is above player sprite (which also means on upper tile layer if the player is in a different position)

And yes, since all computer data needs to be defined, the map is filled with the transparent B1 tile on the upper layer of the entire map automatically - that means if you set B1 to circle the player can move anywhere (including through walls), if you set it to cross the player can move nowhere on the map.

The top left tile in the B tileset is the 'erase' tile or the 'default' tile when no other B-E tile is used. You should NEVER put a sprite on it (and in fact, if you do, it won't show up anyway).

If you put B-E tiles down and you decide you don't want them anymore, there's no way to ERASE them. Instead, you use that tile and draw over the unwanted ones.

The star is an indication that the A passability should be used instead.

So if you change it to X, you'll hardly be able to move at all. And if you change it to O, you'll be able to go almost anywhere.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
