This is probly not the right place for this, but this is the only place I can think to turn that might actually understand what I'm talking about....

So I recently wentry on a hunt for a new game. I found final fantasy Blackmoon prophecy. It's really awesome, but it came with anotherfullscreen which is meant to make rpgmaker games fullscreen. So I used it of course. Now when I accidentally hit the windows key while playing it tabed out and I noticed my resolution had gone extremely big and scrunched. It is still this way and I cannot think how to fix this. I'm trapped in my log in screen. The included image is my current lock screen with the resolution it has. I have no idea how to fix this. Help please if anyone can. D:

Try booting into safe mode (shut down your computer, then hold F8 and restart).

a reboot should give you access again, but it might still be in the wrong screen size - but in that case you should be able to go into your display properties and set the correct solution there again.

As for the cause of this problem - this is exactly why in the compatibility settings for a program you can disable several modern functions (including special tab/windows-key functions) for older programs. Because it is a known effect if the program is written for older windows (or DOS) versions.

Okay so I managed to get in. The resolution is still screwed up but I'm making my way to try to fix it.

How do I change the compatibility settings?

right-click on the program icon and select properties. It should have a tab for compatibility options, but the exact way it looks depends on which windows you have.

Surprising nobody, it turns out "next Friday" for the next Jump into Javascript has become "possibly Sunday if you're lucky" XD
Folks, if anyone sends you a message inviting you to add their API to your game, please report them. We don't want people spamming our members asking them to add stuff to their games for their own (or others') benefit. We've updated the forum rules to confirm this.
I'm listening to iiluminaughtii talking about the secrets behind shady businesses and scams. Meanwhile I'm writing a fanfic about Sephiroth from FF7, one specifically for my stepmom. I'll get to give it to her, too, because my boss said I could take the holidays off! Dec. 22-27 I will be in Orlando, and maybe Fort Myers too, visiting my dad and stepmom!
Of course, I bought a handful of games on the Steam Black Friday sale. Will I try them? Will I complete any? Who knows...
