Hello... I am new here, I joined this forum in hopes to get some answers regarding my Game.

I am working on a little fan-based project and i just finished a Small Sequence of a cut scene, character interaction and an inevitable mini boss battle, to complete a side quest. I sent this little test play to 2 of my friends on Discord, but something quite unusual has occurred. For one friend he was able to get right into it with out an issue, but for the other he's getting messages and no response trying to start up the game. I sent this to the both of them at roughly the same time and as a zipper file I asked the one who had success playing the game explain and he says he just extracted the files to a Folder with the Same name and then clicked on "Index" and was able to play in the browser. The other tries it in the same way and cannot get any results furthermore he believes the Issue is on my end or he needs the program to even begin playing the game. What's even stranger I cannot open my game in the way my first friend described as i get no response either as well as a message of it "encountering a bug", how does that make any sense? It works for my friend just fine, but not me. I was wondering if you could shed some light on this and help me and my friend out.

I also have an Image of the Message if you need to see for yourself.

if the index.html file is loaded in firefox it will work, if in google chrome, it wont. ~ make sure they both use firefox

Edit: or package your game for windows instead of web. Or host it on a real website and chrome wont have an issue.

Or it could be that the path where your friends stored the project contains symbols or letters that are forbidden under networking rules.
Have them tell you where they stored the files (the full path from drive letter to index.html, something like c:\folder\folder - NOT a path that begins with "This PC" as that still contains windows overrides) and post that here and we can tell you if that was the block.

And you should remove those letters from your project path as well - do you see the path in the adress line of the browser?
ANY letter and symbol replaced by a %-number there (like the spaces that were replaced with %20) is a letter that causes problems on deployment, exactly because it requires an override to work and those overrides are different for different operating systems.
