I see what happens. You're using the old system that exists for retrocompatibility with older versions and to allow better migration to new system.

New system works differently and allows me to maintain plugin easier.

I think that is the time to remove definitively the old system.

How do you use your Status Menu Plugin? I can't get those custom columns to show.

Ah, I see. It works if I turn Yanfly Status Menu OFF.
A feature I'd love to see, is a page to show actor's custom plugins (like with YEP MoreStatusPages) or a Yanfly Status Menu compatibility to show custom parameters on general status.

Both ICF-Soft Params Core and Yanfly ExtraParam formula plugins modify the extra params (XParams). The one you place below will take priority over the other.

The Yanfly Status Menu compatibility will be added later. I have to do something with params core first.

Sorry, I really hate to necro this but I can't figure this plugin out at all, i've been messing with it for hours to no avail. upload_2019-1-13_23-47-9.pngupload_2019-1-13_23-47-45.png
What i'm trying to do is create a stat called skill, but I can't get it working, the test attack i'm using always does 0 damage, every single time. I have no idea what i'm doing wrong. Yes I have the icf main utility plugin above the params plugin and yes its being tested on a brand new project to make sure its not an incompatibility issue. Please help.

I use the latest in both the main and the soft params core. And I am sorry but I haven't the faintest idea how to hunt down the console log, i'm going to need a bit of a pointer on how to get that.

By pressing F8 you can open console. Information about problems are displayed there.

Main utility current version is 1.04b and Params core is 1.06b.

Now I can see what happens.

The problem exists because you've changed plugin's filename.

To solve problem you need to give plugin correct filename. It's ICFSoft_ParamsCore.js.

And if you're using a modified plugin this is the first thing you have to say when reporting an issue.

I had no idea, see for some reason the file didn't actually download, i had to copy the code and manually create a javascript file with notepad. I didn't know that would be an issue >_<. Thank you, it is now working properly, and sorry about that.... the modification was not intentional.

PS. Is there a way to use custom parameters with yanflys stat allocation plugin? I figure it can't hurt to ask.

Don't worry about that. If there isn't real modifications plugin should work fine.

About using custom parameters with Yanfly's stat allocation plugin there isn't yet a plugin for that.

Hey there,
i encountered a problem with adding a new param to Yanfly's Status Core.
I use ALOE_YEP_MenuParameterControl to add the parameter to the status screen.
However the game crashes when i go to the paramters section in status scene.

Any idea how to add the new parameter to Yanfly's Status Core?

First of all, i really like your plugins and how you on top of it try to keep them compatible with others. Kudos!
Thanks to you i am really close to getting the base of my game to where i want it to be.
There are two things i am still struggling with, tho.
1. I would like to get your PParams to show up in Yanfly´s StatusMenu with the other Attributes.
2. I would like to get a CParam to show up in Yanfly´s Status Menu below TP with its own graph/bar.

Any help will be appreciated!

Hello @chillsta,
PParams can be shown in Yanfly's StatusMenu like the other attributes. If you have an issue with it you can send a screenshot to let me see and find a solution.
To show CParam gauges inside gauge areas you can try my StatusMenu.

Indeed it helped. After i read your reply, i tried to reshuffle the plugins around a few more times and got it to work with your ICFSoft_YEPShowParams plugin. To be honest, i have no idea how i missed it. My guess is that i didnt turn off the old DreamX_ShowParam or ICFSoft_DXShowParams. My bad.. ^^´
I will do a bit more research and testing on your StatusMenu and see where i get with the CParams, but it was more of a secondary issue. The most important thing is working for now, yay!

I feel this is an amazing plugin. I was curious, I'm trying to use the Cparams to setup a new gauge that would act as sort of a stun meter. I'm having a few issues though. I'm not getting the gauge to appear unless I use another plugin that actually generates gauges (unless that's the point actually.) also is there a way to take normal HP damage AND damage for the Cparam? my actor takes the Cparam damage and the gauge goes down, but I'd like HP to go down as well. and lastly I can't seem to get the damage to popup though for the Cparam. tho clearly the damage is taken according to the gauge.

Cparam damage popups are avaiable since version 1.08 but you must enable througth "Default Valid CParams" plugin parameter or in actor/class/enemy notetags. This is to avoid damage popups as example when extracting fire points from a cold elemental enemy.

To make a skill to damage both Hp and Cparam you can use these notetags:
Code:
<RECOVER CPARAM: CParam amount>
<RECOVER CPARAM: CParam RATE amount>
<RECOVER CPARAM: CParam amount RATE amount>

Thanks a lot! that's exactly what I needed to figure out. I have one other question, I'm curious, is there a way to refill or reset a Cparam once it's empty through states or items?

You can recover Cparams same way as damaging them. Negative sign is damage wile no sign is recover.

Also you can edit Cparam reset type and reset value. By default its reseted to max when going to an inn.
