So, I stumbled into the dev blog posts talking about thinking outside the box, and challenging people to think of different solutions and work-arounds.

This is kind of like that.

This challenge doesnt have a clear goal in mind, and is far more vague.

Create a type of "Parry" mechanic. This can range from as simple as just an evasion stat thrown on gear, to something far more complex and unique, where it somehow involves pets, or magic, or something. Just don't use scripts/plugins.

There is no right or wrong answer. This is more about exploring creativity.

I got this idea from the states tab, where u can select to have a state "remove by damage"
I thought about making a different style of parry stat, which is just a state that lowers dmg by a small %, and has a % chance of wearing off after taking hits. (and is replenished between fights and or using the guard command)

So I thought, what other ideas can people come up with, that are unique and interesting?

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
