Hello Gamedevs and Gameplayers!

I remember there being a script for RPG Maker VX Ace out there that essentially took the tiles and changed them from blocky and square to diagonal and natural looking. It only did that with A1 and A2 tiles (so it only affected water and land tiles). I have searched many script lists and have come up empty. Anyone able to recall what/who it was/made it? Thank you all in advance.

Yup, it's an isometric plugin. I don't know of one for RPG Maker MV, but I'm sure if you search you could find one. The question really is, can you find a free plugin that does that?

The OP is after an Ace script, not an MV plugin

Is it anything similar to the VX Ace Layy Meta Engine?

Hey everyone thanks for the replies, but I want to clarify this is NOT an isometric script. The script in question literally took the RTP (or any other tiles that fit the 32x32 grid) and make them NON-squared. The picture of the the overworld looked much more realistic and natural and not blocky at all. The land edges with the water resembled more a Final Fantasy 1 with the script in place. Thanks for all your help tho!

Luke

Edit: As it stands, I JUST found what I was talking about. I guess I was incorrect thinking it was a script, so I apologize, but thanks for all of your assistance to everyone.

Considering a script can't edit tiles anyways, I don't know why this was thought of as a script. All the engine can do is use the A1 it is given or interpolate the tiles to something else and you don't want to use interpolation for that if possible as it is not very reliable.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
