Was tempted to say FF12, but it won't last forever and everyone would be capped at some point so I'm gonna say minecraft cos it will have to continue with updates too :p

Hmm, I guess something with a lot of replayability or a massive modding community, perfectly both.

Something like Skyrim, Fallout New Vegas, Civilisation V or Europa Universalis 4 I guess. :)

@Hotfirelegend Ah, forgot about that. Thanks! Yeah, Minecraft would be a really good choice too. So many cool mods, Thaumaturgy is probably my favorite.

As much as I don't like it, i'm gonna have to go with Minecraft too, because of the endless replayability.

So many great games to choose..., but...

I think I would go with "Contra". I completed that game 100+ times and I could play that again and again... =D

Neverwinter Nights (First one, by Bioware). It has a lot of great modules with fantastic writing, story and balanced combat. The community for it is still going quite strong too. It also makes D&D with friends from other countries easier. ****, I miss it. Gunna boot that up again when I've the time.

Borderlands 2 for sure.

There are a lot of things to do in that game and a lot of add-ons\DLC\extra stuff, it's multiplayer compatible, basically endless and so much fun to play.

Its not my FAVORITE game by far, but if I'm stuck with only playing one game for eternity, it would have to be Skyrim. Like the individual highs aren't as high as a game like Nier, but it keeps a pretty good level for ridiculous numbers of hours.

Yeah, Skyrim would probably be my second choice.

I'd personally say Oblivion in that instance, as long as mods still came out for it.

If I have online access my decision would definitely be Minecraft. Its always fun to see what I can cook up in creative mode as well.

However if it were an offline game then I'd probably choose Fire Emblem Awakening. (Soon to be Fates once its English.) As the game has some good mechanics, and difficulties are always good for challenging my mind. The story could be better so hopefully Fates will replace it with its new mechanics and better story.

For me most realistic choice will have to be Titan Quest: Immortal Throne. Mostly because it's the game I've already spent the most hours in (and have over 20 characters), I am very familiar with it and like the setting, and because I've already done tonnes of LPs, guides, and other Youtube videos for it, so I know for sure that it's a game I can keep coming back to for years upon years. Oh and not to mention the fact there are tonnes of mods for it.

Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. I've played it since it was first released and still play it to this day. I've just bought it on Steam and completed it once again. My time spent in that game isn't really hours anymore, but months - might even nudge it up to a year or so of play time. Not really sure. I never get bored of it; and that's without mods, just patches. To me, it is the best game of all time and I would gladly play it for the rest of my life.

I still got that game. I kind of wish the quests and loot were a little more randomised.

Have you played any of the mods with the new clans?

I've played around with a couple of mods - Final Nights, Camarilla, Clan Quest, etc. I've recently downloaded the Antitribu mod so I can play as my favourite clan - the Tzimisce. I mostly play with the unofficial patches, though.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
