Now that polling is closed, let's talk experiences! As for me, well...
I didn't win first place.
Though, I didn't get disqualified for technical and miscellaneous reasons either,
so I can still say I, in the most bare and desperate definition of the word, succeeded.
My entry wasn't even designed to compete, it just so happened that the 2018 IGMC
aligned with my goals for the end of the year. I really needed to sort out how my future games are made;
Entering was something I had to do.
There's nothing like a good crunch to divulge what you actually want to do with your life!
So yeah, c'mon and rap with us. Let us spin tales of fortune or the absence of such.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
