Hello there!

Now, you might be wondering. Who the hell am I?

Well, that's quite a simple question, with quite a simple answer.

If you are just an acquaintance of mine, feel free to call me Devek, however, best friends can call me Kai if they wish.

I've been using RPG Maker VX Ace for around two years for personal uses, and have developed several prototypes for games, but they have never reached any finalized stages. I plan to change that with a new, horror game built around the Corpse Party universe.

Oh, I just can't script. So don't ask me for any knowledge on that.

It is a pleasure to be apart of this welcoming community, and I hope to be of service to a few other newbies that might struggle with starting RPG Maker VX Ace, as I have veteran experience. The most I hope for however is to feel comfortable in the environment that I'm working on, to have that set goal in mind with others supporting me. I think my projects have died in the past simply for the lack of promotion that I have done, which I intend to change.

I hope you enjoy me being here, as I'm very enthusiastic about meeting some of you.

It's grand to see someone who's got prior experience in VX Ace. Personally, I've found RPG Maker XP to be my niche handful of years ago, but MV certainly has it's benefits!

I cannot lie- anything related to Corpse Party instantly has me gripped. I can't wait to see your ideas come to fruition!
Bad PR and marketing can be the death of a series, sadly. It's happened time and time again.
Some great ways to gather attention for your game/concepts can be utilizing the forums such as this one (Multiple Forums, in fact! 4chan and Reddit can be your friends!), maintaining a blog or social media for your game. But, that all depends upon how much free time and multitasking you'd be willing to put forth. It can be very time consuming and stressful to juggle all that at once.

I thought the only way I could gain some respect in the community is by participating and being active in different conversations, so I joined! I also thought it would help promote my game a little in the long run, I don't expect much from it, but I hope it works out well.
