I'm confused about screen resolution

#1 and #2 there is a lot of empty space on those maps though. You got a lot of green and nothing else, which a player will find boring. Now I assume you do intend to add more to those maps though? If so then it might work out.

You may wish to upload these maps (especially #1) to the game and map screenshot thread for some more feedback on it. I think it will help.

Oh, good lord no, this is not by any means a finished map, haha, it's just the map I happened to be messing with at the moment, just for testing purposes. My finished maps are very detailed. This was just to give an idea of the dimensions and whatnot, to further the discussion about screen resolutions.

Ok, just mentioning it as you were asked if you had a lot of empty space, and #1 did have a lot of empty space on it (open room with nothing but ground, and nothing else). Hence the suggestion.

Oh, so you just want a wider field of view, not more detail? That makes sense~ :kaophew:

Regarding the scaling-related interpolation/fuzziness, you might want to check out this post:Like Andar says, downscaling can also cause the text/menus to become too small to comfortably read. :kaoback:

The pause menu is looking very sparse, all the info clustered over on the left and the rest just "empty space". I'm guessing that's something you'll address later, though, like the map detail. The houses are looking nice! :kaothx:
