"Hello.... Can you hear me? ...You can? ...Good... This means I can still save myself..."

-Konnection-

Summary: A young boy/girl (The Player) finds themselves locked away in the bottom depths of an abandoned hospital, with no certain means of escaping... That is, until they find a lone walkie talkie in the back of the room. Upon turning it on, A strange voice comes over the speaker, a voice that sounds strangely familiar...

...Your voice...

With the help of your future self, coordinate with each other in an attempt to escape a possibly bloody fate. Avoid going into areas where your connection drops, as that could mean that's where something unpleasant could happen to your future self...

Help each other stay alive, your lives depend on it...

---

I've been meaning to make a horror game for a looong time, but with school and all, never had the appropriate time to do it... WELL, Winter Break is upon us, Sooooo... LET'S BUST OUT SOME REALLY AWESOME DEMOS AND PROJECTS!! HUZZAAH!  :guffaw:

((Coughs and readjusts himself back into his seat...))

Aaanyway, lets get down to business:

- Tell me if you like the concept!  :D

- If you want to help me with the project, just ask and I'll try and give you something to do! (Only do this if you are willing to be committed...)  :stare:

-If you think there are any scripts that would work great with this, then please bring them to my attention!  :guffaw:

- Tell me if it sounds to similar to something else/ If it seems unoriginal  ;_; I don't want to copy something/ bore someone to death...

Also, keep in mind this game will be EXTREMELY Text heavy and will play out more like an interactive book with chase scenes...!  :p

This is pretty interesting. I'm quite curious as to if you will be playing both the present and future self? From the plot it kind of seems like it, or at least can see what is happening to your future self. As far as I know there isn't a plot like this in the horror scene yet, I'm a big fan of horror games too. But alas I don't know everything lol. If interested I am willing to work with on some stuff, if you'd like. I won't be able to help too much as I have my own thing I'm doing. (Mainly just learning to script AT) but yeah.

Wowie! That sounds super cool and love the concept and variables xD Definitely something I'd play, especially since I love this sort of stuff. :) I'm not sure if it's similar to anything else, but the concept of being in a hospital is pretty cliche, but the good things about cliche environments is there is room to make it your own and show people another side to something they think they already know; because when really they don't. So rock their socks off! I'm supporting completely!

I really like the concept of your future self, but I can't help but feel the rest of the game is just a horror clique, abandoned hospital, chase scene's and walls of text just don't hold up to the story concept you have, work with it some more and get something really unique and I think you'd be onto a winner.

I also like the concept of your future self.

How about changing it like this:

You wake up in a small metal box.  Terrified you kick your feet, causing a door to slam open and light to pour in.  You feel unusually cold and slide out on a metal tray.  You find you're in a morgue, and a tag on your toe gives your name and time of death --- a few hours ago.

Around you, the room is abandoned, except for a lone walkie talkie on which you hear your voice saying:

"It was almost too late...remember the experiment?  It's not...fully stable...find (static)...or we'll both die, permanently."

Hey everyone! thanks for all the Feedback!    :rock-left:    :guffaw:   :rock-right:

Thanks! The thing with that is I'm a total newb to scripting in the Ruby language, so I couldn't make any substantial difference to actual game play just yet...

(I'll probably go back and make a definitive version once I get some experience under my belt...)  :p

That's exactly what I was going for! Although the setting will be heavily inspired by Corpse Party: DP, I wanted to bring a new, fresh horror story to the mix of most generic VX Ace horror games... The story will be the centerpoint of it all, but the gameplay wont be forgotten though...!  :p

This is pretty interesting. I'm quite curious as to if you will be playing both the present and future self?
Yes, you will be able to see what is happening in the future by... nah, I'll keep it a secret for now!  :D

But interaction between future and past will play a key part in the overall plot, so of course i'm going to let you see the future you  :p

Interesting... I'll have to keep this in mind!   ;)   :rock-right:

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
