I making a remake of this one game, and there's this thing that happens where it transfers the player to another map and makes their sprite invisible for a cutscene. But when they get transferred there, the autorun event doesn't play. I've tried everything, from making it a switch event, to making it a parallel process event, but it just won't do anything. The only thing I have changed/messed with is one of the picture sprites that are shown in the cutscene and some of the dialogue. Can anybody help me out?

I would suggest taking a screenshot of the event that transfers the player, and the autorun event, and posting them here for starters. It's difficult to help without specifics.

is there a page 2 on the autorun event? what is the conditions for page 2?

Also if there are no conditions on page 2 it will still always takes precedence over page 1.

Is switch 328 definitely off when the transfer happens? Are there any other autorun events on that map?

There's no other autoruns that are aren't part of the same event on the map where the cutscene plays.

I was just checking since by your wording it sounded like you were saying there were other autoruns but they weren't part of that event. XD Hmm. Try temporarily deleting the second page and see if it runs then.

Okay.... I'm braindead. I accidentally left a common event on parallel process. Sorry for the wasted time....

I don't know about you, but today the covid frustration is seriously getting to me. Haven't really seen many of my friends for two years, since i moved towns the year before this all started, and well, i miss them :(
