I kind of don't know what I'm doing in the program, Haha.

Any tips or guides I can go to?

Also, is there a section on here where I can, in a way, post my questions so I don't practically spam up the forums (almost like a journal or a place I can go where I want to ask something whenever I want/need to)?

I've moved this thread to Introductions. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

You can follow the link to the starting point in my signature, it will lead you to the most important tutorials

And no, for better use of searching we want our users to follow the rule of "one topic is one problem", preferably with the title of the topic telling what type of specific question is asked within. (The tutorials like mine are written by people to prevent new users to ask every simple question possible, that's why easy questions are often referenced to one or the other of the tutorials here on the forum)

Tips - start small. Read as many tutorials as you can and watch as many YouTube tips as you can. It is a long road of both richly rewarding and frustrating at the same time!

Thank you! I suppose I'll get started on watching Youtube videos then. I learn better visually, not written, although I did find an extremely good tutorial that said I should probably start off on writing everything first, THEN plan it on the program.

@LetchkuSnow That is a pretty good suggestion... once you get serious about it. I am the same way about learning visually (thank god for youtube videos)! I can only add the additional tip to play around with the program... at least for myself when I came in with this grand idea and story then I couldn't accomplish half the things I wanted because of my own limitation with the program which is why I stepped back for many months... now after so many hours of youtube videos I returned and feel more confident in both my knowledge when people ask questions (or greetings!) and my abilities in the editor. I recently ran into my limitations again and I had forgotten how frustrating it was! However I was able to shift around the problem! It was empowering... that is why I suggest the tutorials and youtube videos!

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
