:) I am of the opinion that you should not put in massive scripts with an enormous amount of flexibility when you are looking to do one little thing.
Roger understood : 3!

but for more personnal question

for the script this is not better to use comment unless to have to do a script call?

like :

QUEST : standby (so it will show the picture associate to standby (like a interrogation point)

QUEST : transit (show the picture of after you activate the mission but you can't complete it )

QUEST : Completed ( show the picture of when you can go see the npc for finish the mission :3!)

but this is just a option I think you can offer to the requester for the script

for simplified is use of your script

The steps you'd need to take would be as follows, start with making the event above the npc as such::

Then set an autorun event in the area your npc's are in, to turn on the specific switches for the specific events:

Then talking to the npc turn the switch off:

I can't get it to work. Do you have anything on the second page of event 5 and 7?

It looks right to me, and are screenshots from my test which I know works. The second pages for events 5 and 7 are just so the switches aren't turned on or off repeatedly, just ensure you have them set to the right switch and that the events are set to action button or autorun appropriately. That said.. Shaz's script solution would likely be much more efficient though; that's a lot of events to do instead of 2 script calls. :)

Yes, in this case putting it in a comment would be better than a script call. The person who made the original request wanted to be able to turn them on and off at will. You could also just set up a parallel process event that erases itself after checking which events need the balloon and doing the appropriate script calls.

Al, not sure what you mean. You should just be able to select the script from that thread, then paste it into a new script slot. You've got to insert (and name) your new slot, then click in the large text area on the right to paste.

Sorry. it has been a while since i did anything with scripts. OK I got it in script editor under materials and above main. I think that's where it goes. I'm not sure how to do the rest.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
