I just tried to help someone in the rm2k section using an image. I wasn't sure where to upload it, so I chose imgur at random, then used the image button for inserting it into the page. However, it doesn't seem to have worked properly (it says ). Have I done something wrong? Or am I doing this wrong?

Thank you ahead of time (also, not sure if this was the right place to put this).

EDIT: Weird, the URL also posted oddly...

Both the URL and the Imgur image in the topic you linked appear fine to me.

I'd guess it's an issue with your browser. Unless someone gives you something more helpful - try clearing your browsing data (cookies, cache, etc.), restarting your browser, and seeing if it looks any better.

P.S. - Imgur is listed as one of the acceptable media types in the "Media" option (next to "Image"), but this probably doesn't matter since it looks to me like your imgur is showing up anyhow.

I can see the
Code:
[IMG][IMG]
tags followed by the actual image. That's a bit odd - it looks like you may have hit the button a few times. I wonder if putting it in a spoiler might have made a difference. I'm going to have a go ...

Clicking the Image button in the toolbar just gave me this:
Code:
and when I clicked it again, it gave me another one. That may have been what you did. It looks like that button may not be functioning properly.

This is what I get when I type the tags in manually:
Code:
[IMG]https://imgur.com/a/ItPzD#VBf0goB[/IMG]

This is what I get when I type the tags in manually, but make them lower case:
Code:
[img]https://imgur.com/a/ItPzD#VBf0goB[/img]

And this is what I get when I just paste the URL:
Code:
https://imgur.com/a/ItPzD#VBf0goB

So it looks like there's an issue with the img tag, whether you use the icon or type it in manually. The only one of the above options that worked for me was just pasting in the URL without trying to add any tags.

Thank you, @Shaz for doing that troubleshooting! And @kirbwarrior for bringing it up! I've been having a lot of issues with image tags on the forums for a little while now (both viewing and sharing)...just assumed it was me/my browser.

Yeah, posting the direct link from Imgur, at least, works just fine without the IMG tags.

You can also use the "Upload a File" button below the reply box.

After you upload to Imgur, right click the image and select "Open image in a new tab" then copy THAT link to put in the
tags. It should be a link that ends in .jpg or .png

Thanks a lot for the help, @Shaz! And everyone else!

Ah, that makes a lot of sense.
You can also use the "Upload a File" button below the reply box.
I don't know how I didn't see that :kaoswt2: Is there a limit to size or file type that can be uploaded?

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
