I'm having a bizarre bug where players and/or enemies will reach 0 hp but they are not counted as dead. The player can use items but nothing else (other abilities are greyed out). I even attempted to add an end of turn check for 0 hp and forcibly apply the knockout state but that doesn't actually seem to occur either.

I'm using most of yanflys plugins, and a few others (which I've cycled on/off and gotten the same result either way).

RMMV
So you've turned off ALL plugins, at the same time, saved, and are still having this issue?

If they have the Immortal state, they would not die even though reaching 0 HP.

Abilities being greyed out could be due to 0 MP, or not enough MP to use the skills.

I think we'd need some screenshots, maybe of the battle screen showing hud when your players reach 0 HP, along with a shot of the skill screen with all the options greyed out.

Does this occur on a new project or just your existing one?

I was able to narrow it down what I believe is causing the issue this code:

<Instant Eval>if (user.isStateAffected(74)) instant = false;else if (user.mmp >= 600) instant = true;</Instant Eval><finish action>add state 74: user</finish action>I have this in various skills to allow them to be instant cast in some situations. The odd part is this shouldn't effect the targets of the skill. (FYI state 74 is just a state that prohibits instant cast chains)

Yanfly solved this in her main thread for me. The problem is using the finish action instead of the follow action notetags.

Code:
//corrected code for anyone that wants to use<Instant Eval>if (user.isStateAffected(74)) instant = false;else if (user.mmp >= 600) instant = true;</Instant Eval><follow action>add state 74: user</follow action>

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
