So, I want to make a battle where the player cannot die and instead heals back to full health - yet I don't want the battle Sequence to cancel either.
Simply using a battle event to check when the players HP is below a certain threshold won't work, since the player can, and will, be instantly killed, which bypasses the event trigger and causes a game over. I also cannot have another Party Member to prevent the Game Over.
Anyone has any Ideas? Scripts or otherwise.
Thanks in Advance!

If it is a one-time only battle and XP has battle formulas (I don't have or use XP, so bear with me), have all of the foes moves be like this:
Code:
(b._hp <= 1) ? 0 : *insert normal formula here*
Again, I don't use or have XP so I can't confirm this, but in MV, this forumla does the normal damage, but if the player's HP is 1, all damage from the move becomes 0 instead. This formula also makes sure the move can't outright kill them, either, as having more than 1 HP and getting hit by this formula leaves them with 1 HP.

The best you can do in XP is have a Skill do no damage and instead call a Common Event.
I currently have the problem circumvented by simply having the skill call an event that deals exactly 1 less Dmg than the target's HP.
This works, but I would prefer if the Damage Number shown was not the actual number, but something ridiculously large.
The only thing I can think of, currently, is making a Battle Animation that looks just like a Damage Number while setting the target's HP to 1.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
