Immortal Status not working.

Hi, I am trying to make a character Immortal so that she doesn't completely die when hit with a powerful attack. However she does die all the time, I've set the Immortal Priority to 100, and yet it still doesn't work, I have a screenshot of the battle event if that helps, Thanks.

Well it works fine when I do a test. Mabye leave the priority to 0?

Are you using any scripts at all?  I've done tests several times changing different things and it always works for me.

No, I'm not sure on that. If you make it entire battle, the text is going to keep repeating. You don't need it to keep adding the state - just once is fine. The state is removed at the end of battle, not after that tab is processed.


Are there any commands on tab 2?


Do you have State Resist [Death] set on your Immortal state? Do you have more than one state called Immortal, and are they set up differently?


And just an out-there check - are you sure it's Evie in your battle party? You don't have multiple actors set up representing the same person do you, so the Evie you're applying the state to might actually not be the Evie in the party?

Sorry for the very very late reply to this, I have been doing other...stuff. 

I've just had a look at this again, I removed the second tab as there was no point. And I even changed the immortal state to entire party, and changed the priority to 0, but none of that helped.

This is right at the beginning of the game, the first fight in fact, I haven't added any scripts, it's just all the default stuff, the Immortal state is definitely set to state resist death. I can only assume it's something stupid that I have unticked or not done, but here's the state.

I would try testing it in your actual game rather that battle test thing if you haven't done that already.  Because similar to what Shaz said, a lot of times there could be problems so obvious you wouldn't think of them such as Evie not being in the party yet.
